We’re passionate about gathering insight that connects environmental and social issues, with the goal of inspiring action and driving positive change. Some topics we love to dive into are:

Climate Action and Nature Recovery
Addressing the interlinked climate and nature crises is woven through our work, with nature-based solutions featuring prominently. We believe that working with nature is a no-brainer if we are to solve some of our big problems – from low wellbeing to poor housing to climate change. We’re curious about how everyone – politicians, investors, activists, employees, residents – can play their part.

Food Systems
Tackling a broken food system requires a comprehensive overview, from farm to fork. We’re interested in this area, from the subsidies and chemicals that go into food production, to the levels of waste and the human illnesses that can be the end point. We also aim to shift the conversation from ‘food security’ to ‘nutritional security’, and better understand the complexities of food production, distribution, and consumption, so as to ensure equitable access to sustainably produced food.

Land Management and Farming
We want to see an increase in nature and climate-friendly farming using regenerative practices, agroecology and organic methods. We explore effective practices for responsible land management, aiming to find a balance between ecological health and human needs. This includes researching land policies, promoting sustainable farming practices, and advocating for nature recovery and climate action across all farming systems.

Thriving Communities
We care about social justice and that our work promotes fairness and inclusion. We enjoy community development, providing insight that empowers everyone to have a voice in shaping the policies and decisions that affect their environment and way of life. Our work often explores how community action can tackle local challenges, build local democracy, or foster a sense of ownership, for example in local development.
